![]() This is a large setback because I live with my parents currently and they are not happy at all that she's having accidents and not even trying to go outside anymore. I've heard around 8 months some puppies kind of 'lose their minds' and forget commands, are more hyper, etc., and I have noticed some of this with her as well. They said she was probably 6 when we got her, so she should be around 8 now - she still has to grow into her feet. Maybe that's when she peed on the floor, but she never came and got me up to go out.Ĭould it also be her age? I'm guessing she's 8 months. I heard her downstairs around 3am but she got a small drink and then went back to bed - I assume. I don't understand why she no longer even tries to alert us she needs to go out. We did have another dog visit for a day and he peed in her crate and possibly near her blanket (after the storm and after she had the first accident) and that's the only trigger I can think of. She's also gone outside, sniffed and not gone, come inside and peed right in front of the TV. This morning I got up and she had not gotten me up to go out during the night, and I found a puddle by the front door. I used vinegar this time and instead of that stopping her she peed inside her crate sometime during the night (she does not sleep in the crate). We cleaned it up but the next night she peed where the blanket had been. Last Thursday we had a storm and instead of going to the door she just walked to one of her blankets on the floor and peed on it. She has always gone to the door to go out or she whines in the middle of the night to get me up and take her out. I've had her about two months and she's had maybe 2-3 accidents in the house before this. I have an 8 month old Beagle/Golden mix that has all of a sudden started peeing in the house.
